Jessica Lau

Since the early days when Party4aCause first came about, Jess and Brian often talked excitedly about their visions and endless possibilities for this organization. Throughout the years, Jess remained committed to planning events for Party4aCause and enjoys combining her passions for party planning, exploring her hometown, New York City and bringing friends together while making an impact. Party4aCause allows her to explore her love for the arts, food, wine and live music as she continues to plan fun and exciting experiences at interesting venues in the city. Jess currently provides organizational strategy consulting at Deloitte Consulting LLP and also actively provides interior design consulting services as a side interest.

Isabel Leung

It all started with a great P4aC Wine Tasting event back in 2008 where Isabel met our founder Brian. She was inspired by his concept to create a charity organization that raises money for a good cause while hosting entertaining events. Ever since then she has gotten involved with P4aC and helped out with various events including the Annual Beer Pong tournament which has raised funds for Habitat for Humanity. In future she hopes to continue hosting fun events, ensuring that the guests have a good time while contributing to a good cause. Currently, Isabel works at Genentech, a biotechnology company as a pharmaceutical product representative.

Adam Librot

After more than 7 years of pension consulting for Mercer, Adam went full time into his own business in 2006. Free to pursue a more diverse array of projects, Adam sought to offer his time and acquired business expertise to local NYC non-profits that significantly impact the lives of the people they benefit. After meeting founder Brian Mak at a Lower East Side live music performance, it became clear that Party4aCause was the perfect fit. Adam hopes to contribute towards growing the organization and providing a solid base on which P4aC can continue to achieve its mission well into the future.

Vicki Loo

Vicki has supported P4aC since its conception in 2005 and with an expansive social network and fondness of hosting parties and volunteering; it was only a matter of time before she joined the team in 2008. Vicki works in public relations and looks to increase the awareness of P4aC in the New York metropolitan area in hopes of receiving more support by local businesses to benefit New York City’s charities.

Roshni Palicha

Roshni attended her first P4aC event in 2008 and was immediately interested in getting involved. She was captivated by the concept of hosting a great event while financially benefiting worthy causes. P4aC gives her the opportunity to pursue many passions – event planning, helping out her local community and meeting and connecting people. Roshni currently works at an AllianceBernstein, an investment management firm, as a Senior Associate.

Jon Sukarangsan

Jon is always one to get behind a good cause. He joined P4aC in 2009, attracted to its goal of bringing people together while having a fun time. Whether through event planning or creative strategy, Jon continues to contribute to the mission of enriching and improving the lives of communities within New York City. Jon works in interactive advertising at Ogilvy & Mather.

Cynthia Li

Cynthia heard about P4AC through her friends and was enthused by the notion of giving to the community through fundraising. She was involved with several community building organizations in college, and looks to continue her passion to make a positive difference in society by bringing people together to spread awareness and help the community through P4AC. Cynthia currently works at an asset management firm and whenever possible, tries to pursue her other passion of traveling.

Marina Vitebsky

Marina heard about P4aC from Jessica Lau and she immediately wanted to get involved. Along with Jessica Rosen, Marina was affiliated with Spark, raising money for St Jude’s children’s research hospital through various fundraisers and silent auctions. P4aC really appealed to her love of helping out the community and reaching out to others through social events and networking. In Marina’s spare time she enjoys seeing live music, traveling, and dining on exotic cuisine. She is currently co-authoring a book with Jessica Rosen and is planning on attending law school in the fall of 2010.

Jessica Rosen

Jessica always loved giving to her community, she got involved at a young age with an organization called Spark. The concept was bringing light to the community by throwing various fund raisers for St Jude’s children’s research hospital. P4aC appealed to both aspects of her personality, the social and the philanthropic side. This made her decision to join an easy one. Currently Jessica is writing a book with Marina Vitebsky and attending school.

Giancarlo Yao

An engaging, rewarding, and enlightening experience – Giancarlo heard of P4aC from Brian and Jessica during the early stages of its establishment. Giancarlo has seen the impact of such an organization within the local communities and continues to work with the P4aC Team in developing the brand and extending the breadth of its mission to areas in need. Concurrently with P4aC, Giancarlo provides consultation and business development advisory needs to entrepreneurial companies needing funding capital and strategic planning. After work, on weekends, or while on vacation, you can usually catch Giancarlo training for marathons/triathlons while raising awareness and garnering support to ‘greater cause’ organizations such as LLS.

Brian Mak
Founder

Party4aCause was founded in 2006 by Brian Mak shortly after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin. After moving back home to New York City, as a way to keeping in touch with his old and new friends, Brian started organizing happy hours and parties to raise funds for art programs such as Art Start, and global relief organizations like World Vision. Brian had a strong passion in art and working with children and of course, bringing people together to have a good time. That’s why he started the fundraising organization Party4aCause in hopes of building awareness for local causes that need financial support while creating a social environment where new friendships are formed.
